Script Execution
Is there a way to execute a script at the termination of a job? For example, I have some SQL files I copy to tape. When the to tape job finishes, I want to clean up the file staging area with a script I have. The script basically deletes all .bak and .trn files in the folder and subfolders.

Re: Script Execution
In Backup Job properties / Storage / Advanced Settings / there is "Post job activity" and "run the following command"
Does that not help?
What I am missing is a pre-job task (!)

Re: Script Execution

Sorry, this is a Backup Files to Tape job. I should have clarified. I don't see an advanced settings section there.WolfgangA wrote:In Backup Job properties / Storage / Advanced Settings / there is "Post job activity" and "run the following command"

As far as I know, we are going to add post-job activity to the tape jobs as well.
