Preview of PRTG Veeam Backup & Replication Plugin...

Here's some preview for you to comment on;

(My installation is really small and purely for testing, so don't laugh!)

There are now two sensor versions of the data available, one with Jobs data in table and one without.
(The reason for this is the limitation of PRTG interface which cannot consume too much data at a time.)

Information delivered:
- Infotext of failing jobs
- Jobs data: count, active, error, hold -> Set triggering of your choice
- Total Transfer rate
- average tranfer rate (Which I think could be omitted from the final version,or?)

To be added;
Set sensor to warning when job(s) in failure....

Hi Guys!
I'm releasing this 'Alpha' version of the plugin now. You need to follow these steps!

NOTE: I strongly advice you to make all these installations to a probe computer!

Installation (Requires registration to the site@ http://prtg.ojoconsulting.com/index.php ... &Itemid=46):
1. - Download PRTGPlugins full pack MSI from prtg.ojoconsulting.com
2. - Download the latest manual for setup instructions (Current version 6.5.1) and execute installation procedure!
3. - Download the veeambmon.exe and place it to CustomSernsors\EXEXML-directory
4. - Request a test license from the site http://prtg.ojoconsulting.com/index.php ... &Itemid=52 (It will be delived to you in minutes)
5. - Place the lic-file to ...\EXE and EXEXML (just in case you want to test something else as well)

Configuration:
1. - Create a new device pointing to the SQL-server of your Veeam installation and set credentials
2. - Setup a new EXE/advanced sensor and choose veeambmon.exe
3. - Enter parameters:

Minstat sensor with default sql installation:
-t:%host\VEEAM -u:%windowsuser -p:%windowspassword -d:%windowsdomain -i:minstat

Full Status with default sql installation:
-t:%host\VEEAM -u:%windowsuser -p:%windowspassword -d:%windowsdomain -i:jobperf

4. - Setup triggering of channels or your choice...
5. - GIVE FEEDBACK ... please....

When I do the step below it ask me to buy a license for 295 euro. its not possible to use the plugin below for free?

Hi,
This is the first version of Backup & replication plugin to provide information and statuses to Paessler's PRTG Network Monitoring software. I'm coding some new features for Backup Jobs and Proxy status to mention.

You can request a trial license for 7 days on the site and you can request it again after expiring if you need more time to test.

The links should be ok but just in case you can now use www.prtgplugins.com to make a request for the test license at the menu.

This requires a valid registration via email.

Get statuses of finished Jobs for a time period of your choice

Parameters:
-t:%host\VEEAM -u:%windowsuser -p:%windowspassword -d:%windowsdomain -i:logs -ts:96

-ts:value is hours back to list from current time

Proxy status sensor
Monitor statuses of your proxies...

Parameters:
-t:%host\VEEAM -u:%windowsuser -p:%windowspassword -d:%windowsdomain -i:proxy
