Hello,
Scenario:
Veeam Backup & Rep. on Server1
Veeam Reporter installed on Server2
V. Reporter succesfully installed, viewed over Mozilla Firefox. Once I click Configuration link/ Collection/Reporting/Session/Data Admin/... "HttpException Unable to validate data" message comes up. I assume it needs to connect to the Veeam Backup & Rep. SQL DB. am I right? How Can I resolve this?

No, Veeam Reporter doesn't require any connection to Veeam B&R database. The error you observe relates to Reporter's website. It would be best if you could show all the logs to our support team for further investigation, as I haven't seen this error reported before.
