I've noticed something that has turned into a bit of a headache for me.
I've had to reinstall Veeam on three different servers now (Don't ask!
). Not wanting to recreate 70+ jobs from scratch, I moved the database from the old server to the new one and connected Veeam to that database. This works well, with one problem: all of the passwords for every server and every job have to be re-entered or else a job run will lockout the service account.
Is there anyway around this? I'm assuming there isn't, but maybe this behavior is something that can be addressed in the next patch.
Also, (and granted this is probably minor) the email notification in the job summary has the name of the old server in it. The sig looks like this:
Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager
https://[FQDN old server]:9443/default.aspx
I can't for the life of me find a way to correct this.
Any tips? Thanks.
