#07703388
Co-worker tried to replace appliance certificate a few weeks ago, things were not done properly. Appliance used a signed certificate before, which was then replaced by a self signed cert by the appliance.
So we tried to fix this and requested a new cert at the self service our IAM team provides (they use trueExtender for this). We received a zip with different cert types, inc. p12.
Now we are unable to import the cert via the appliance web interface.
In appliance gui -> replace certificate -> Upload certificate -> xxxx.p12 + password
Result: always same error 'Certificate File' must not be empty.'
I also tried it with a certificate (request) that was created with openssl on appliance cli. Same error. There is not much in the documentation about this other than than the steps in the gui. Is there some other magic needed to get this imported?

Re: Replace Certificate failing with Certificate File must not be empty
Hi,

Right, for others that run into this problem. It's a bug and there is a hotfix for it.

Yes, backups are running again. But we were surprised to not have any visible error in the backup jobs view as they just stopped completely. Also the cloud protection report of Veeam One failed (does not exist anymore...) and in the end we were without backups for days.
