Hey everyone,
I'm wondering if there's any issue installing antivirus software (TrendMicro, for instance) inside the Veeam Backup for AWS backup appliance. Has anyone done this before? Does Veeam provide support if there's third-party software installed in the backup appliance?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Normally this software shouldn’t impact the working of our product. As long as it doesn’t interfere with the ports needed for us to operate correctly. Additionally, you may need to exclude certain Veeam folders in case you get false/positive warnings.
