Hello,
I want to restore my AWS VPC Configuration to an other AWS Account.
I use "VPC Restore"
- 1 full VPC restore selected (lastest restore point)
- Select IAM Role = AWS Temporary Access keys with AdministratorAccess policy (from an other account as target)
- Restore to a new location : Europe Paris (the backup was on Europe Ireland)
- region mapping : eu-west-1a to eu-west-3a ...1b to... 2b ...1c to ...3c
- no peering connexion configured
And then I run the restore task : I immediately get this error : The requested resource was not found.
A Case is opened since a month and now I need help quickly please : #03371870
Restore to Original AWS Account works fine.
Thanks.

Re: VPC restore to another Account
Hi,
Please continue working with support here as we'll need to analyze logs to understand what causes this. This specific message can mean anything and will be hard for us to clarify via the forums (as we are not part of support).

Re: VPC restore to another Account
Thank you.
The problem : there is no error log.
The support answered : "Thank you for the provided logs. I checked them but couldn't find any VPC restore errors. Because of that, I ask you to reproduce the issue and provide a screenshot of it."
The screenshot was only the message "The requested resource was not found".
Since I created the case (more than 1 month) I have no answer, just some questions... Some tests. And for the moment nothing to help me.
So I try to post here to have some help from people who tried this restore too.

Re: VPC restore to another Account
Hi,
I noticed the case has been escalated and hopefully we can resolve it soon. I'm unaware of any other customers facing issues with it so it could be related to the configuration of your original VPC.
