Hello,
I am using Veeam to backup a MS Access database app on a Hyperv computer. Should I be using application-aware backup for this?
Thanks in advance

Re: Backing up MS Access Database
Hi MJF,
Enabling it won’t hurt. However, there’s no Veeam application-aware support or VSS integration for Microsoft Access databases.
To ensure a guaranteed consistent backup, make sure no application has the Microsoft Access database open during the backup.
Keep also in Mind, running applications directly on the Hyper-V host or protecting the Hyper-V host is not recommended.
Best,
Fabian
