Hello,

If you're talking about Instant Recovery, then /var/tmp is used for write cache, you can find more info on this page. Let me clarify whether we can change the path in explorer .xml config or not.

Thanks!

Hello,

@Fegume
Please use the following registry value on the Mount server:
LinuxWriteCacheFolder
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Backup and Replication

Thanks!

Hi @PetrM,

the key LinuxWriteCacheFolder does not exist. Is it necessary to create it? like DWORD (32bit)? What value should be entered? /Recovery for example?.

Hello,

Yes, of course, you need to create it. The type: REG_SZ, sorry, I forgot to mention it. You enter a path that you want to use for write cache (/folderWithCache/). Also, it would be better to restart the Mount Service after creating the registry key.

Thanks!
