Feature request: backup logs continuously or every minute

Hello,

we have one SQL Server that at times writes alot of transaction logs. To get the log off the server fast enough we backup the log every 5 Minutes so the logs that need to be transferred do not get huge.

At peak load days it would be even better to backup continuously or every minute - but Veeam lower limit is 5 minutes.
It would be nice if that can be lowered. I see no reason why normal backup can run "continuously" but transaction log backup cannot.

Hi Markus,

The request has been noted. Have you considered our plug-in for Microsoft SQL Server? It could be a good alternative, especially for highly transactional databases, and the scheduling is very flexible: you can trigger a log backup command from a script or SQL Server Agent job according to your schedule requirements.
