[Feature Request] integration of application plugins in enterprise manager
Can we please have the integration of the application plugins into the Enterprise Manager?
As of now the only way to have RBAC in VBR is the Enterprise Manager.
Yet it lacks the integration of the application plugins like Oracle, SAP...
We need that so we can give the application specific admins access to their application backups!
And we cannot give them access to the veeam client because that one lacks RBAC...
Best Regards
Udo

Hello Udo,
thanks for sharing. We understand and want to address this topic in the future.
Maybe a workaround is to give them full control of the backups from their side with the stand alone plug-ins until this is addressed.

Hello Andreas,
you mean using the plugins in "unmanaged" mode?
Best Regards

Yes, correct. I know that it might not be the best situation, but it gives your application teams the control that they request over the backups.
The monitoring then needs to happen as well on that side.

Yes we have it that way right now.
But we would like to switch the plugins to managed mode but for that they
must then be integrated into the Enterprise Manager.
Then they would have one console (at least for VBR onprem workloads) where
they can do everything with a nice consolidated GUI.

Agree, this is the idea for the integrating the plug-ins into Veeam UI.
