Hello,
Apologies if my question doesn't follow the rules of the forum but our company is going through the process of buying a license for Veeam so we are still with the trial version and don't have actual product support.
We set up a backup of Oracle DB with Veeam Plug-in for Oracle RMAN and it works good for few days but for some unknown reason it stops - RMAN sessions hang on event "Backup: MML extended initialization" (MML stands for Media Management Layer) and nothing happens. We restart database and Veeam services, kill all RMAN sessions but nothing helps except restart of the whole server. As we have 3 Oracle DB servers and every 2-3 days one of them is going through this strange issue it is quite inconvinient to restart production servers so often. Did anyone experienced such problem?

Hello Streetz
Thank you for your interest in our products.
With a evaluation license (30 days) you are eligible to basic support.
I recommend to open a support case under your evaluation license. The debug logs of the Veeam RMAN plugin will help our support team to investigate this technical issue.
Best,
fabian
