Veeam Plugin for DB2 (AIX) - Problem aftert migration the backup from TSM to Veaam

Post by thiagodsilveira »

Hi all!

After migrate the backups from TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager / Spectrum Protect), I've configured the new backups to run on Veeam using the DB2 Plugin.

The full backups and archive ones run smoothly om Veeam side.
But after the online backup, on DB2, the backup just do'nt finishe and keep geting the following error, trying to use the TSM lib:

2025-07-18-17.04.32.308737-180 E147898539A593 LEVEL: Error (OS)
PID : 14877128 TID : 1 PROC : db2vend

Anyone with something like this?

Looks like the TSM one is somehow still configured in one of the config files. Can you please check.

Alternatively, please open a support case for it and let support have a look.

Is your backup operation that you start still using the "use tsm" in the operation instruction?
