Hosts and Clusters in Business View

We are also using custom attributes on hosts in Virtual Center. Is it also possible to make views for hosts or clusters via using these attributes? We have made categories regarding these hosts but we still only get charts regarding the virtual machines.

Hello Ilkay,

Currently, only VMs can be categorized with custom attributes, though your feature request is a part of our next product release, which will add categorization for clusters, hosts and datastores.

We are aiming to release BV 2.0 in Q1 2011 (might be adjusted). By the way do you have any feedback around your needs of host and cluster categorization, that we could possibly implement in our upcoming release?
