I'm having an issue categorizing some machines. I created an appropriate category and group, and they accept machines, but when I try to add some other machines into the group it gives me an error, please see attached screenshots.
Thanks!

Re: Problem categorizing machines
Hi Darhl, could you please tell me if there is anything in common between "failed" VMs? I'd suggest looking through the log file below that might shed some light on the issue:
By the way, is it the same machine which runs Veeam backup server?
Code: Select all
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\BusinessView\Generated\log.txt

Re: Problem categorizing machines
I'll take a look through the log and see if it shows anything. And the VM's don't really have any commonality that I can see.
And yes, this is on the Veeam backup server. I'm guessing from what I learned on our other thread that this should be on a separate machine also?

Re: Problem categorizing machines
Not really, but I usually recommend to keep either Reporter + Business View or Monitor + Business View on the same machine just in simpler management considerations.
