Veeam Business View Scheduled Sessions Fail

Hi

Just wondering if someone could help me out with the issues I have with Veeam Business View. For some reason Business View has stopped working recently, I had a look at the schedule history and I found all sessions to vCenter has been failing. Each session log says the following.

3/23/2010 1:13:21 PM [info] : RunningOptions : RunFromEnumerator
3/23/2010 1:13:41 PM [info] : Connecting to vms01.rap.local with user administrator...
3/23/2010 1:13:45 PM [info] : vms01.rap.local. Connected.
3/23/2010 1:13:45 PM [info] : Begin Enumerating...
3/23/2010 1:14:20 PM [info] : Enumerating objects: Virtual Infrastructure
3/23/2010 1:14:23 PM [info] : Saving to database...
3/23/2010 1:14:25 PM [info] : Successfully saved to database.
3/23/2010 1:14:25 PM [info] : Rule management...
3/23/2010 1:14:45 PM [error] : Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
3/23/2010 1:14:45 PM [info] : Session failed.

Some sort of information why this happens would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Dimi,

Have you had any configurations changes recently in your environment that might have affected BV? I believe we would need full log files to see what might be the cause of the failure status. Please contact our support and provide all logs from Configuration | About for investigation.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. As far as I know there haven't been any configuration changes. I will have a look at the environment when I'm back at the office just make sure and I will get in touch with support for further help.

Hello,

I have exactly this same error since I added new groups and categories in the business view software.
Does anyone know what the solution is to resolve this problem.

Hello Jean-Yves,

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find Dimi's ticket number, so could you please send us all the logs to support@veeam.com and as soon as you do that please tell me your ticket number, so I could update the thread with the resolution.

Jean-Yves, you can find them by opening Configuration | About menu
