Hi all,
I set up a job to backup a SMB file share. It's running slow but steady, yet claims 16 files to be infected and therefore not copied. Mailware scans on the share did not find anything.
Which log might contain the information which files could not be copied?

Hi Frank,
You may find the list of affected files in the CSV report located in the C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\<Job Name>\Report folder.
Thanks

Frank,
This error is caused by an exclusive lock on the file by your antivirus software.I set up a job to backup a SMB file share. It's running slow but steady, yet claims 16 files to be infected and therefore not copied. Mailware scans on the share did not find anything.
The path to the report with the locked files is included into email report as well.Which log might contain the information which files could not be copied?

Re: Unable to backup files: files are infected
All, is there a way to get the backup job to ignore files that have been flagged as infected? Thanks.

Hello Brian,
Unfortunately it's not possible to ignore this warning, can you please describe your issue? Was that some kind of false-positive alert? Thanks!
