Access denied Failed to create nfs41 file stream
I am backing up a fileshare on a Netapp device with Veeam V10 NAS backup. Backup runs fine. When I try to restore a file I get Access denied Failed to create nfs41 file stream.
How can I figure out what ID the restore process is using? Am I missing a configuration setting? I can pull the files from the NetApp in a backup job, but not restore it?

Please, open support ticket and share it's ID here.

Re: Access denied Failed to create nfs41 file stream
Hello Ron,
Please make sure that you have set write permissions for the proxies on the target file share. Likely you've set read (which is required for backup), but write, required for restore, is missing. Cheers!

Re: Access denied Failed to create nfs41 file stream
Dima, how do I set write permissions for the proxies on the target file share? Is this in Veeam or on NetApp, in the export policy?

On the NetApp you need to set the list of host names (or IP addresses) of your proxies via the export policy. If I am not mistaken this article is correct to follow: Setting up file access using NFS.
