Helloooooo I've been trying to backup file shares (both NFS and CIFS) from storage snapshots but I read here https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120
that even when I specify where the snapshots are stored, the note in the page tells that the VBR doesnt create the snapshot by itself and that I should use pre and post scripts to create and delete the snapshots, does anybody knows how should I do it? should I use the powershell netapp module? does this feature even work? (somebody once told me it doesnt) and are there places that I could get these kind of scripts instead of writing them myself?

Re: how to backup file shares from storage snapshots?
My guess is that you have a NetApp ONTAP system?
Then it is very simple as we can backup from ONTAP snapshot with the integration (no script needed).

With NFS it should work the same way, just VSS is not available in the NFS protocol.
