backup only one folder of physical machine
I'm using Veeam Backup & Replication 11 Enterprise Ed. and I'm interesting to know if, once I installed Veeam agent, I'm able to backup part of Windows/Linux file system of physical machine e.g. two folders with the relative content

Re: backup only one folder of physical machine
Yes, you can use an agent for it or you can use our NAS backup (that can as well connect to windows/linux servers to backup the folders.
Image backup is fast and most efficient (backup target space) for backing up files. But if you have a huge tree with a lot of files, NAS backup and their optimized file change tracking has the advantage.

Re: backup only one folder of physical machine
Yes, you can use image backup of the Veeam agents to backup files and folders as well. (You can select "whole system", "Volumes" and "files and folders"). The technology is efficient with a smaller number of files up to maybe some thousands. If you want to backup large file shares, then the NAS backup that you can point as well to a linux/windows system is way faster as it has a very intelligent tree walk and has massive parallelization in it.
You can try both and see where you land.
