Backup PowerScale

Hello,

I will soon be integrating the Dell PowerScale solution into my infrastructure to host my data, which will be available in CIFS.

My current Filer is a VM backed up by Veeam B&R.

I noticed in the Veeam documentation that it is able to integrate with the PowerScale.

It's not clear to me, if I want to save the migrated data on the PowerScale, do I need to add the licenses to Veeam's GB File Share?

Yes, using file share backup jobs requires a VUL (1 instance/500 GB). We also have capacity packs available. Please reach out to a regional Veeam sales represeantive if you are interested in more information and quoting. You can also use our rental license to backup file shares.
