Hi All
What is the ratio between the size of backup data and cache repository area? If I want to backup a 10 GB File Share, need I 10 GB of free space in my cache repository?
Kind Regards.

Re: Cache Repository Space
valteresjunior,
Cache file depends on the amount of items on the source. Should be around 70MB per million items.

Re: Cache Repository Space
To add, Cache Repository is used to store checksums of the source data discovered during the last job run and not the data itself. During one of our tests against 62.6TB file share (9585351 files total) the amount of cache used was around ~200MB.
Thanks
Thanks
