Copy Job for File Backups fail when set to backup after restore point created

Post by mbcoker »

Hi, all of my file backup copy jobs are failing since I've upgraded to v12.

My Copy Jobs are set to copy Any time (Continuously) however when the source jobs run, the copy job starts at exactly the same time but fails and doesn't run again.

The Error I get is 'Failed to process NAS backup copy task Error: Item [Data from 01/25/24 restore point] is locked by running session *Job Name* [File Backup]

If I run the job manually it completes fine.

Will add Veeam Support Case ID here shortly

Hi Matt

I'm not aware of any known issue. Are you on v12 or v12.1 (v12.1.1)?
Please provide me with the case number so I can check the case.

Hi Lampshade

I checked the case from mbcoker. But the case was closed without a solution because we haven't heard anything back from the customer.
Please continue working with our support team.

Best,
