Hi Guys,
we are planning to use EMC Unity storage appliance as NAS storage and map as a filer to a VM to store 580TB data for a Service which runs inside the VM. later we want to backup the data of these Fileshares from EMC Unity. so im under the impression we should add the EMC Unity as a Filer to VEEAM then add the file-shares. I want to know how many license do we need to purchase if we want to backup & restore this amount of data?
regards,
Hirosh.

Re: EMC Unity fileshares License Count

Licensing for capacity is handled by either:
You can use our calculator here to project the growth/repository space, but remember these are just estimates.
It's best that you discuss this with your Veeam Sales representative, so I advise reaching out (via email or from my.veeam.com) and requesting a meeting to discuss a license that covers your needs appropriately.
