Hi,
Currently you are unable to create a backup copy job with a file copy job as a source. This is different behavior than the other backup job types. Please make it more consistent.

Re: Feature request: create copy job with file copy job as source
Hi Franc
"File Copy Jobs" do not create "Veeam Backup Files". It's just a 1:1 copy of the original file.
Therefore they will not become a source for "Backup Copy" jobs. But in theory you could create a second "File Copy Job" to copy those files again to a third location.
Or are you talking about using a "Backup Copy" of a "File Backup Job" as a source for a new Backup Copy Job?
Similar to what we have brought back to Image Level backups?
Best,
Fabian

Re: Feature request: create copy job with file copy job as source
Hi Fabian,
Sorry, I indeed meant the file backup job type which you can create by Backup job -> File Share. This results in a File Backup job which automatically creates a Backup Copy job if you select secondary targets in the job wizard. However, when manually adding a backup copy job, you can't select a file backup job as the source as you can with other jobs types. That's what I mean with consistency
