How to backup / archive a NAS Share? How it works?

I'm have a job that maintain the old versions for 1 day and archive it for 1 month.
I noted that works and archive is done.
But, where is de job to archive?
There is a way to force the archive?
I tried to run again a new full for this share, it has 3 TB and do not reflect at archive repository.
