NAS Job Malware Detection disable

Hello,

Is it a way to disable the malware detection on NAS JOB ?
I we have warning on all job due to some developper using their home_directory to install some tools, so the warning are normal for us.

Hello Francois,

Malware detection currently supports image-based backups only, so it should not affect NAS backup jobs at all. Can you share the screenshot of the error / warning you got? Thank you!

It would appear you have a 3rd party antivirus running on your backup proxy server and blocking other apps (including Veeam) from accessing some files it deems infected.

So the AV/EDR can speak with Veeam and tell to Veeam that file is infected ?

No, here Veeam is just passing the error it gets from the OS.
