Nas retention & "Limit the number of both recent and archived file versions"

Post by Henrik.Grevelund »

Hi,

Does "Limit the number of both recent and archived file versions" affect the retention in the Backup repository, or only the Archive repository ?

Example:
Retention : Keep all file versions for last : 28 Days
Advanced settings -> File Versions
Select : "Limit the number of both recent and archived file versions"
Set the "Active file versions limit" to : 4

If i backup once a day, and a file changes every, will i have 28 or 4 versions on the Backup repository ?
Have nice day,
Henrik

Apparently these file versions settings apply to archive repositories only... the UI is confusing in this light, we will fix it.
