Hello Everyone.
I have one question.
I want to back up netapp nas Storage.
Can I configure a scale out repository to back it up?
[Scale out repository config]
- Performance Tier : Local Repository
- Capacity Tier : AWS S3
When I check the forum, it doesn't seem to work, but I'm curious and I'm asking.
Can't NAS backups be offloaded to the cloud?
happy new year.
Thank you.

Re: Netapp Nas Backup[Scale Out Repository - S3]
Hi Noah
In V11, you need to use a dedicated object storage repository for NAS backups. Capacity tier in a SOBR will be ignored. You can only store deleted or older file versions in object storage.
You can find this information in our user guide:
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... repository
In our next version V12, you will be able to copy your entire NAS backup to object storage repository.
Best,
Fabian
