Hi,
I've set up 6 backups jobs (pulling data from 6 SMB shares), each pointing to 6 separate S3 buckets for backup storage.
I use Veeam B&R Server as proxy and set it to 6 concurrent tasks.
I currently have 4 jobs actively running, the other 2 started but stuck with "Resource not ready: backup repository" message.
I checked and all of 6 S3 buckets are only used in one job.
What am I missing, why can;t all 6 jobs run in parallel?

Re: Resource not ready: backup repository
Hi Nikolay,
For interaction with Object Storage Repositories and SMB shares, some server must act as gateway, and in this case likely it's the VBR server. So in essence, you have VBR acting as both the proxy for backup and the gateway to get to S3, and my guess is that the VBR server is maybe over-subscribed.
I would advise open a Support case and [url=https://veeam.com/kb1832]include logs from one of the jobs with the "resource not ready" message for Support to review -- the logs will explain a bit more on the resource scheduling and Support will be able to advise on the behavior, but I'm guessing it's as described above.
Please share your case number once created. Thanks!
