Hi,
using V12, we backup our file shares from a NAS. To get an offsite backup, we copy the backup files to an external USB drive. If needed, we want to restore the backup directly from the external drive.
Question: How to do that? Is that possible without adding the USB drive as a backup repository?
If i attach the USB drive to the backup server, I've no clue how to start a restore directly from the USB drive. The only files linked to Veeam are .vlob files, but I'll need the whole backup archive.
Regards,
Jens

Re: Restore NAS files from USB drive
Hello,
yes, you need to add the USB disk as repository first.
