Restorepoints on storeonce are not immutable

Post by Hirosh »

hi guys,

i have recently noticed in veeamone 12.1 that some of my retsorepoints are not immutable allthough the repository which is storying them is immutable(Storeonce catalyst store). The data is first stored in an scale-out backup repository(Linux Apollo Server) then there is backup copy job which copy that backup to storeonce catalyst store. this job in Veeam one immutability report is specified as mutable. do i have to change some settings in this job, or is it because our scale-out repository is not immutable, causing the backup jobs also not be immutable?

*the backup is from file & folders to scale-out backup repository.

regards,
Hirosh

Do you have immutability enabled in the repository settings in Veeam B&R?

I'd also check for possible limitations/missed pre-requirements for immutability on StoreOnce.
