Hi,
I've just noticed that my customer has configured Azure Files Shares as Target Repositories.
So their Veeam Backup Jobs go directly to that Cloud SMB Shares.
Veeam Backup Server is an OnPremise VM, as well are the VMs to be backed up.
Is this supported?`
Thank for your help
Oliver

Re: Support of Azure File Share as SMB Backup Repository
Hi Oliver,
Our QC team has not validated Azure Files with VBR during testing cycles. On the other hand, technically we support any file share that can be added via NFS (3.0, 4.1) or SMB/CIFS, so no issues with Azure Files are expected as Azure Files is compliant with this requirement. Moreover, I just spoke to our QC team members and they are not expecting issues either.
Thanks

Hi,
thanks for the answer, i've found a similar question here (https://www.reddit.com/r/Veeam/comments ... vms_to_an/ ), so I was quite unsure about the "is supported" question
Greetings
