Synology QNAP

Good evening
considering that the most used NAS in small and medium business environments are Synology and QNAP, is it possible to foresee the possibility of making a backup of the Synology and QNAP snapshoots?

It's extremely unlikely we would integrate with Synology and QNAP snapshots. You are right in that these are SMB solutions and most small customers seem totally fine just backing up file shares directly (without snapshots).

Having said that, perhaps there's a workaround already to backup from snapshots by directing Veeam to read data from the snapshot location? I know our customers have done this for NetApp before we had a snapshot integration.
