when backing up a drobo B810n shares even putting an admin account.
drobo is in workgroup and so use local account.

Can you please clarify how file share was added to the Veeam B&R (file server/smb/nfs)? Can you please confirm that the proxies for file backup also have permissions to access the file share under the specified account? Thank you!

Hi,

added a smb share, file proxy is the veeam backup server,
and yes this server can browsing shares, on smb share there are 3 default drobonas permissions:
everyone --> full control this folder only
drobonas\root --> idem
drobonas\domain admins --> idem

Thanks for the details. Can you confirm that the user set for the backup has read access? I've found this article but not sure if it's valid for your drobo model.
