NAS backup with Netapp NFS volumes: snapshot excludes not working

Has anyone running the NAS backup with Netapp storage run into the issue where the default snapshot excludes are not working properly? The SVM I'm trying to backup has apx 4.8TB of total data, but the NAS backup is not excluding the snapshots and attempts to backup 30+TB and millions more files. This does not happen on all NFS shares.

VBR 10 (P1)
Netapp A700 - ONTAP 9.5p7
NFS exports

Support had me remove the default excludes (per share) and re-add the excludes (using the IP address):
IP_Address:/Share_Name/.snapshot, IP_Address:/Share_Name/~snapshot

Earlier, I tried adding an additional exclude:
/.snapshot, /~snapshot

Issue has not been resolved.

hmm, I cannot find the case number.

As it does not happen to all NAS shares, it looks like an issue. But I cannot talk to support without a case number.

Hello,
sorry for the case number confusion - your case number was always right - I just ran into a temporary permission issue.

As far as I hear, the issue was reproduced in tier 3 and they are working on a solution. Please give them some time.

Looks like the known issue: try to removing the current exclude mask for the path to snapshot and then add it again manually.
