Will this type of backup detect moved files, any logs?

Hi
Will this type of backup detect moved files, any logs which files is deleted and when from where?
So, if I move entire folders in some subfolders, will veeam file share backup copy all this again like robocopy?

Hello Daniel,

Any file moved to another folder will be treated as new and will be backed up again. However, older file (from the original location) will removed from the backup according to the set retention.

You can see which files were deleted (or moved) from the original location in File Level Recovery. Open Backup Browser and enable 'All time' view: deleted files will be highlighted with the specific icon marked with red cross.

hmmm
If I rename folder, will all subfolder/s and files inside copied again to repository?

Yes, because renamed folder will be treated as new object.
