Re: Feature Request: Proxmox
That would be awesome! I am running Proxmox in my lab, and two customers have already migrated from ESX. I am hesitant to bite the bullet, because if sh*t hits the fan Veeam is my most trusted and long proven wingman

Broadcom don't care, you can see by the shemozzle of their support site transition, it's been more than a week and still some people don't have their entitlements showing up in the new system

Something I didn't catch right off as I was too excited and didn't get that far in my reading on the announcement page :
"General availability for Proxmox VE support is expected in Q3 2024"

Re: Feature Request: Proxmox
Hmmm... some questions...
Will have copy support through Veeam Cloud Connect?
Will the V2V concept be supported?
Will Proxmox get a Webinterface like VMware vCloud ?

Re: Feature Request: Proxmox
I think at this point it is best to close this topic as the original feature request has been addressed.
For any specific questions about our upcoming Proxmox support please create the dedicated discussions, and the responsible PM to answer what's coming in V1 vs. in later versions. Otherwise with a single topic it will quickly turn into a completely unmanageable mess of different questions and answers.
Thank you all for your interest!
