Hello,
At the moment openstack is not included as Hypervisor to protect.

However, you can leverage our Veeam Agents for Windows, or Linux, and create protection groups that will discover those VMs running in Openstack, and then they can be protected.

Thanks

Hello, so given that Veeam can't back up the open stack hypervisor, in order to restore a failed VM, you would have to create a new VM, and restore the windows backup image to the new VM? If the OpenStack hypervisor could be backed up, then you could restore directly to the OpenStack bare-metal?

May be. But it does not matter because it's not supported at the moment.
