I have been dealing with building power issues as of late. As a result I have had to shut down
all servers for the planned outages. Each time I shut down and power off the servers, and subsequently when all systems
are back online, and I go into Veeam, the Proxmox servers show up under 'Unavailable' and backup jobs
will fail with cannot communicate with worker.
Resolution, go into 'Unavailable' and click Edit Server, then click Finish. This does some gyrations and moves the server from Unavailable to the group ProxmoxVE.
If you try clicking 'Rescan' first, it does nothing, although it does not fail.
Thought I would share these findings. It's not important enough for me to open a case, I have enough fish to fry, but putting it out here.
Build is 12.2.0.334
**Side note: It would be helpful to be able to view the worker build information somewhere easily.

Re: Proxmox workers offline after power cycle
Hello,
Can you tell us how long you waited before applying the manual resolution?

Re: Proxmox workers offline after power cycle
Hello,
This delay is not normal; it should only take a couple of minutes.
Kindly open a support case for further investigation and post the case ID here for reference.
