Failing Azure backups
CASE 07046667
Just wondering if others are seeing a similar issue to ourselves.
Numerous VMs in Azure not backing up, snapshots fine.
Ticket has been escalated up I believe.
Error below.
[13.12.2023 14:31:44.375] Error 77 (1) Error: Veeam.Azure.Controller.Exceptions.WorkerRemoteJobException: Worker VBA-7a6ae4f6-d828-4b4b-8aa8-5d44c1a35ec6 (10.5.0.74): job completed with error. Error: Azure REST API error. HTTP code: [409]. Azure error: [BlobImmutableDueToPolicy]. Full error: [Code: [BlobImmutableDueToPolicy], message: [This operation is not permitted as the blob is immutable due to a policy. RequestId:3fdc9cfa-401e-005c-73bc-2d1948000000 Time:2023-12-13T12:05:56.2811967Z].].

I see that your case has been escalated to the RnD team. The QA team suggests a "temp" solution while we are looking through the logs. The support team will come back to your shortly.

Hi Vitaliy,
Just wondering if there was any update on any progress on this, I was provided with a temporary fix which managed to resolved the issues we were facing on 3 out of 8 of our failing backups but 5 of these are still having issues. Very Frustrating.

Vitaliy do you know if the identified issue is the same as ours? I don't see any ticket updates yet so am unsure.

I am receiving some mixed messaging from my support cases indicating that a temporary fix provided should have fix all the issues I was having. I am starting to get worried that the fix we've been hearing about is only going to solve some of the issues we are having.

No, the fix we discussed with the RnD team is still being built. It has nothing to do with what has been suggested to you as a temporary solution, even if it helps now. At least, this is my understanding after speaking to the QA team today.

Hi, we're seeing the same issue here on our environment, case 07101183.
Any info on this temporary workaround as case was autoclosed for me.
Similarly, any update on when we could expect this hotfix?
Interestingly enough, our weekly backups to a different immutable repo are working fine.

Yes, opening a support ticket is always required as you might be facing a different issue and proper logs review is needed.
