Hi
I have Veeam Backup for Azure up and running. Backups of Azure VMs are stored in an Azure storage account. Our data protection policy requires to have one backup copy onpremise. Is there a way to achieve that for Azure VMs? I wasn't able to find a way to do that....
thx,
sandsturm

Re: Offsite Backup copy
You can set up backup copies once you link it in with Veeam Backup & Replication. The copies can be brought back on premise then.

Re: Offsite Backup copy
Yes, that was exactly my idea. But if I start the "Backup copy" wizard (Image-level backup) in VBR, I cannot see the Azure Backup jobs as source nor can I see the repositories as source and therefore it's a bit difficult to create a backup copy job
This was the reason to create this post here. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Re: Offsite Backup copy
Hi,
Just make sure you've specified the connection account (credentials) to the external repository, this will allow you to create backup copy jobs for your cloud backups.
Thanks!
