We have a customer doing a lift and shift migration of VMs to Azure.
Currently they are backing up on-premise with VBR and wish to continue using the Veeam ecosystem in Azure.
They will be replicating a subset of VM's using Azure Site Recovery from one Azure region to another. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find any conclusive answers as to whether VBA and ASR can coexist however.
Our concern is that the two discrete products will interfere with each other, particularly if backup/replication jobs run into each other.
Does anyone have a similar deployment, or can provide any insight/reference documentation which can confirm if this configuration is supported?
Thanks

Re: VBA and Azure Site Recovery
Hi,
We have customers who have these combined. I would recommend trying not to overlap policies with ASR tasks to ensure both solutions can co-exist.
