Hello
I have a large virtual environment with well over 3000 virtual machines in it.
I just noticed that when I added a Hyper-v host to a Veam B&R instance. it removed it from another instance. Is it possible to have the same Hyper-V server backed up by multiple Veeam servers?

Strange, I don't see any reason why you could not have a Hyper-V host added to multiple Veeam Management servers.
We have this configured this way in our lab with multiple VBR servers connecting to the same vSphere and Hyper-V hosts.

I thought as much, turns out the issue was mismatched software versions. one is newer.

Re: 1 Hyper-v Host, multiple veeam servers?
Hi Frank,
Yes, if you want to do this, make sure that both versions are at the same level. The integration components that need to be installed will match the newer version and the other one won't recognize this.
Personally I don't like this design to be honest. I would prefer to keep working with 1 VBR server per (x amount of hosts) and scale out through proxies, mount servers and so on... Is there a specific reason why you want to work like this? (Out of curiosity)

Yea, it turns out one of my Veeam instances was newer than the rest.
