Hi,
I have a trial version of Veeam Backup & Replication yet, and i hop to purchase as soon as possible some licenses, but i have one doubt. I have a hyper-v cluster with 8 hosts with two sockets per host, but i want to purchase for now licences for two hosts only. it is possible in Veeam Backup & Replicaton add hyper-v servers in standalone in cluster with 8 nodes ?
Thank for your help,
Jose

Re: Add hyper-v server (standalone)
Jose, welcome to the Veeam Community forums!
Veeam B&R is licensed per CPU socket of the source hosts (where backed up VMs reside). If you are not backing up VMs on the host, it does not need to be licensed.
I strongly recommend to review the sticky FAQ topic, you will find answers to all common questions regarding Veeam B&R, including licensing. Thanks!
