Hello,
Last year we inquired about using a gMSA (Active Directory Group Managed Service Account) for adding a Hyper-V host or cluster.
gmsa's were added in v12 but we deemed this lacking feature was a showstopper for us. We resorted to using a single, manually renewed, regular AD account and not both types.
Case #06045701
At the time support replied there was no ETA for this RFE and that we had to monitor forums to look out for announcements (meh), or to reach (hound?) veeam support and check for the latest update.
One year in, are there any plans to include this feature on the roadmap?

Re: Any news on gMSA use for Hyper-V credentials?
Hi minime, welcome to the forums.
No new information at this time to share, but the request is known. Appreciate the check-in; I would say no need for a Support case to check this in the future, I imagine such a feature would be mentioned in the What's New documents on new releases.

We cannot get even gMSAs for AAP to work, let alone backup the hosts, a lot of polishing to do on this feature.
