Hi community !
Did anybody tested Windows 2019 Guest App Aware backup on 2016 Hyper-V host ? I now that that 2019 is not out yet, but maybe somebody tried this somehow ?
Best regards, Nikola.

Re: App-Aware backup for Win 2019 Guest on 2016 Host
Currently Windows 2019 is not supported with the latest version of Veeam Backup & Replication, the intention is to have this supported with the upcoming release of Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5 Update 4

Re: App-Aware backup for Win 2019 Guest on 2016 Host
Nikola,
Michael is absolutely correct. We need to do intensive testing to make sure everything works. We did had some community members trying it out already and they have reported that there are no issues (but please, don't use it in production for support reasons...). The only problem they have encountered seems to be in the replication part, but that was on a Hyper-V 2019 host so that might not even be an issue on a 2016 host. But as said, this is not officially, and I can't stress it enough, tested.
