Hello - I enabled application aware processing on a Windows Server 2016 VM. I clicked the 'Test Credential' button and received a warning for the VM. I saw a failure to connect to the guest OS via RPC, failure on testing the admin share accessibility via RPC and unable to connect to the host's administrative share. All of the above were successful with PowerShell Direct. Do I need to be concerned about the RPC failures? I know there have been some issues with Server 2016 and Veeam, so I figured I would ask.
Thank you

Re: Application Aware Processing - RPC Error
Are you able to open the administrative share on this VM manually using the same account you specify in the job settings?

Re: Application Aware Processing - RPC Error
Only from the VM itself. I tried from other machines and I was not able to (network path not found).

So don't expect Veeam B&R to be able to do this then.

Re: Application Aware Processing - RPC Error
Thank you. I will sort it out. Things seem to be working at the moment.
