Hi,
We have a Hyper-V cluster being replicated with Veeam 8. Since our upgrade to V8 our replication host appears to be having AVHDX files generated for each VM being replicated. This is causing capacity issues and so we are unsure how to proceed. On the production hosts their are no AVHDX files as i presume their are no snapshots but as the VM`s on the replica are always off i cannot see how these would be merged. Is their a best practise since upgrading to V8 or is their a potential issue since the upgrade?
Regards,

Re: AVHDX files being generated on replica host
Hi Peter, what you're seeing is fully expected and is how Hyper-V replication works in v8. Those snapshots are replica restore points.
