Hi, we have a single Hyper-V host and using Veeam to backup all the gust VMs on it. We want to apply some Windows patches to the host itself but before we do, we want to backup the C: drive of the Hyper-V host itself. What's the best way of achieving this - via installing the Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows on the host?
Regards,
George.

Re: Backing up the Hyper-V host's OS
Hi George
Yes, Veeam Agent must be used.
I suggest to use volume level backup and only protect the system drive of the HyperV host.
Best,
Fabian
